Never Stop Exploring
Never Stop Exploring
What will you find here? My travel philosophy centers on meeting locals and getting their advice on what their country has to offer. That covers touristy, but, more importantly, non touristy stuff. I want to see the major attractions, How can you go to Egypt and not see the Pyramids? Get my point? But where can i experience the local culture? from food, music, literature, politics, nightlife, and entertainment, I want to be with the locals, doing what they do. That enriches me with the diversity sought by travelling.
Who am I? Call me Ishmael. Kidding. Call me H.E! armed with an iphone camera, a backpack, and a desire to explore. I am a full-time equity analyst (no, not one of these bastards that brought down the world economy in 2008), but a lover of travel, both above and below the waves. The wander bug runs in the family. My father a civil pilot ingrained me at a young age with his stories of tribes in Africa, the architecture of Europe, and the food in South America. My grandfather, a military pilot, also traveled extensively for his time. The travel gene runs deep and I aim to surrender to its will. So far, i have been to 47 countries and counting.
Who is this for? My mother & my country, kidding. Let me start by saying, this website is not for folks looking to quit their jobs, travel the world on a budget and squat in a city for months. Ton of those out there already. I love my work as an equity analyst (12 hour days on average), but i also love to travel, eat and explore. This is for mid-income professionals, who are career oriented, with 2-4 weeks off a year, who yearn to take a couple of trips each year and enrich their lives. When travelling, I look for value, not budget, not luxury. My goal is to make the most of every vacation day I have and see many places when I am young and still have energy. Hope you will as well.
